I worked at one of these. if you like nyc please for the love of all things holy don't leave for sf
On the other end, if you like SF, there’s no better seat on the west coast (with the exception of maybe LGP) than Genstar
Do you think Genstar is better than H&F, TPG, BX SF, Silverlake, KKR menlo, among other seats?
No. FP, Thoma, and H&F are for sure better. And you won’t have to cover 5-7 port cos.
