I've noticed that Golden Gate Capital has taken Analysts/SA's in the past from select undergraduate colleges (mostly Notre Dame/Stanford). Does anyone have any insight into how analyst recruiting works for GGC?

Knew a kid not from Notre Dame that cold emailed an associate when they were recruiting interns. Got the FT offer after the internship and is now somewhere else after two years as an analyst.
