interned at another GSAM private group. culture is pretty group dependent, some groups may be similarly sweaty and stuffy compared to IB and others are much more chill. comp is the same base but haircut on bonuses besides the stronger private investing groups like PC XIG or AIMS. not sure how it is at sustainable investing for either point. internal structure at GSAM is publics which is basically a regular AM shop and privates which was the old MBD that got moved in. in general privates is harder to get into, higher comp+hours.
