yep. He joined right out of undergrad which is a rlly good achievement as it is essentially a buyside exit for IB analysts equivalent to BX PE. Ken Moelis's son was the type of guy to land a job there right out of school, to put things into perspective. Sunak is the real deal, don't think many Brits realise that

SSG used to be a big moneymaker pre-dodd frank, which it just isn't anymore (now re-branded as being under GSAM). from what i've heard, there's a lot of red tape and deals they can't do as being part of a bank. on a related note, a lot of the rainmakers from SSG's glory days have left to make more money by hanging up their own shingle (the founders of silver point, fortress, sixth street, henderson park, etc were all ex-SSG guys).
