Got this message on Friday evening after my final interview rounds at BlackRock: "I would like to give you a quick call on Monday morning to discuss the outcome of your interview"
Has anyone gotten a similar mail? Of course, I'm still positive that they will make me an offer. But I heard that many companies like BlackRock also schedule a call to give a rejection by phone after final rounds.
However, I think it's quite weird to deliver this message on a Friday afternoon and schedule it for Monday morning. Pretty curious about the outcome.
Has anyone experienced something like this? What was your outcome? Any experiences with BlackRock?
I’ve no insight into the blackstone process as they have never given me an interview, but friends have gotten post final round feedback and it’s mostly been good. I think the general rule is that as long as they want to keep speaking to you, that’s a good thing. I’ll see if my friends have any more color to share, cause I imagine you’re going to be nervous about it all weekend.
Hi there! It's actually BlackRock, not Blackstone! :)
Indeed, I am freaking nervous..Still, if you have any insight, I'd be more than happy to hear about it!
Also, the mail came from the Head of Recruitment for EMEA which I see pretty positive since I didn't have contact with her before and it seems weird that she would spend the time to call every analyst applicant from the final rounds. Does my thinking make sense? haha idk, but we will find out soon I guess
Good afternoon
Hope you are well.
Following your interviews with the Equities team for the 2019 summer internship, I would like to give you a quick call to discuss the outcome. Are you available tomorrow morning, and if so, what number can I reach you on?
Kind regards
This was the email I got in 2019 like 3 days after the superday. They offered me the job on the call, not sure if they would call to reject but they definitely call to give the offer. Most places don't call to reject but rather just send an email. It was also from one of the EMEA head of recruitment. So just chill out and be excited as you likely have the offer
Thanks for your comment. Wow, it really is the same text lol
Seems like they're using the same on 2 years later. So if this is the text that you get when they give you an offer, I'm more than happy. However, could be that also applicants who get rejected on the phone get this mail..but I guess that is the risk that you would always have to face, right..
Thanks for sharing this, really appreciate it!
If they get back to you so quickly after the superday to say they will give you a call, it's definitely an offer. I know it seems like it's still uncertain but you can relax for now. Congrats.

My Superday was on last Friday 19/11 but I know that they had another bunch of interviews this Monday 22/11. So it took them exactly 1 week after my interview and 3-4 days after they finished the interview process for the position. I'm tryna relax now since I cannot change the outcome anyway. However, thanks for your comment, appreciate it!
I will let you know about the final outcome of this story.
Just relax. It’s out of your hands now and there’s no point stressing about it now. Good luck !
So guys, you were right! It was an offer on the call! I am more than happy and already accepted it.
I guess if you're getting a call in <7-10 days after superday it will be an offer!
