H1B Visa Sponsor - Private Equity

Wanted to ask what private equity firms would sponsor H1B work visas for full-time analysts. For reference, I am a Canadian citizen.

Do these funds sponsor:

- Brookfield Asset Management

PSG

- Blackstone

- KKR

- Ares Management

- Silver Lake

- Vista Equity Partners

- General Atlantic

- Audax

- Spectrum Equity

If there's any other firms you know that sponsors, please let me know as well. Thanks!

the last 4 years under Dems might be ok, next term under what's likely going to be Rep is going to be tough. Lots of them are going to go back to just hiring US workers as was the case when Trump was in his first term.

Really? Were most firms on Wall Street a lot more reluctant to sponsor during the Trump presidency?

Are you a Canadian intern? If you don’t mind me asking, how’d you land a role at BX NY? I’ve only seen a handful of interns from Ivey / Queens / UW end up at BX. What was your interview process like and did you ever feel like you were at a disadvantage being from a non-US school?

Know a couple of ppl got in through a cold app. BX/KKR aren’t network heavy at least at analyst level so you basically need to lock down a respectable sophomore SA (big 5, Altas, OTPP, Imperial, etc)

Not Canadian, but international. Target or not, every single intern at BX I met are incredibly smart, so the bar to entry is really high. Echoing the comment above, yes a lot of people got in through cold applying, but you don't need a too-reputable sophomore SA. I saw people with non-profit work in their sophomore summers, it's a matter of how well you can crush these interviews.

"generational talent"

Whenever this person gets mentioned I let out a nice chuckle

Google H1B data info. Department of Labor is required to file every H1b application publically so you can look up each company to see what role/pay/city/year they filed an H1B for an applicant to see who is open to sponsor as there is precedent.

You can also download a Google chrome plugin that works on LinkedIn that shows you if a company has sponsored H1B before on open jobs as it scrapes the public data from the above. Good luck.
