Handling Headhunter Outreach

I am aware of the vast number of discussions on this topic, but I have an unanswered question after reading through them.

Given you should not respond to headhunters unless you are ready to recruit, is it acceptable to follow up on an outreach 3-4 weeks after receiving it (once I am prepared)?

I received a request from a headhunter for some preliminary information and plan to prep for on-cycle during training. Do I provide the requested information and assume I will not hear back from them for a little while? Or, should I wait to submit my information until I feel adequately prepared once I am a few weeks into training?

I am worried that if I provide my info now, the HH will schedule a call in the coming week or two before I have really dug into the recruiting material.

Well training is starting next week, so how would you even go about taking those calls during training? I assume these HH are working like 9-5PM but could be wrong. I just scheduled one about 1 month from now for that reason.

What HH?

Nah they definitely work longer hours than that, at least during on-cycle season. Last year they took all of the intro calls over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday before interviews kicked off Monday.
