HCIT-Focused Funds?

For those of you familiar with the financial sponsor community, what are some of the more active funds within the healthcare information technology space? I am interested in platforms across the middle-market and mega fund spectrum.

A family friend, who has spent ~15 years as a chief information officer of a healthcare system with ~$2 bn in annual revenue, is interested in opportunities to serve as an operating partner as a part of his retirement plan. The healthcare system has six hospitals across several states with a handful of out-patient clinical sites as well. Candidly, I know very little about the healthcare private equity space and appreciate any insight afforded.

Thank you in advance!

Most healthcare-focused funds will dedicate some equity and time to the HCIT sector. Pure HCIT focused funds are rare (because valuations are very high). Some of the names above are a little too diversified to have an HCIT focus.

You'll find major HCIT investments in the portfolios of each of the following:

Veritas New Mountain Welsh Carson (WCAS) Arsenal Parthenon Capital Linden Revelstoke Vistria Group Cressey Webster Equity Frazier Healthcare
