Hiring Analysts without Recruiter

At a recently started PE shop and looking to hire our first analyst. Open to either undergrads fresh out of college or IB analysts with a year of experience. This would be a 2-year analyst program with potentially a path to stay longer. Not looking to use a recruiter because the cost just doesn’t make sense. Anyone here have experience with this and how to build a pipeline of candidates for interviews?

Got hired at a fund out of school last year that did the same exact thing. Would target 5 ish target schools and use their career portals and or investment clubs to get applicants.

Reach out to investment clubs at schools you want to target. Usually club leaders emails are available on the websites. Word will get around campus through them
