I was previously the chief of staff at a mega fund in Asia. I raised two funds, both massively oversubscribe, from blue chip LP‘s. Raised over $2 billion in three years. I then went on to serve as the head of Asia ex Japan capital Introductions at one of the bulge bracket investment banks. Given this, I would like to see how I might be able to get a job as head of Asia for a US mega fund, and help build out the Asia market for them from a Capital raising perspective. The challenge is I have to find a large enough fund that does not yet have Asia presence. How would I go about doing that?
