How do you prepare for tech funds interviews ?

Hi All,

How do you prepared for tech growth equity/ late stage VCs interviews ?

Just got off a call with a HH who told be for growth it was mostly about deep diving into a couple of tech sectors and knowing the drivers and presenting investment ideas. Also a light case study.

However a friend of mine at a major tech growth / PE fund told me the likes of Summit, TA, Hg all had challenging modelling tests incorporated with case studies. Which one is right ?

Also, how do you prepare for the deep dive and pitch companies questions? During a former PE internship I used to see startups flying around so had everting top of the mind but with IB I dropped market research, what’s most efficient, do you just open some market reports randomly or “top 10 tech trends”, see anything that resonates and look up 2-3 companies ?

Any other advice for these kind of interviews ?

thanks a lot !
