How is the current fundraising landscape in U.S.?

Hi I am on a project growth capital deal, investing a global manufacturing company with strong cashflow located in east asia(Not China).

The deal has downside protection via establishment of the right of pledge. Expected minimum LP irr is 9.x%. Considering the fact that USD is strong now, I think that LPs in US might be interested in this kind of oversea deals where entry valuation is discounted around 20%.

One thing I am worried is that current market is not in favor of new investments because interest rates hikes and because the stock market is crushing.

So, before reaching out LPs in US, I want to know the LP market in US.

Any opinion will be helpful. Many thanks.
