How to Prep for PE Analyst FT Interviews?

Currently joining a reputable MM bank for this summer. However, I have a few networking/alumni connections at various MM and LMM PE firms that will be recruiting for FT Analyst positions. They pinged me and mentioned that they'll try to plug me into the processes.

How do I go about preparing for these interviews? Are FT PE analyst interviews similar to PE associate interviews? I assume I should study LBO/cases as well as the normal IB technicals, but how far in depth and how hard will these questions be?

Additionally, how should I go about recruiting while still doing well at my summer internship and making sure I get the return?
