How to ramp up efficiently in the first 6m on the desk? Incoming MF asso

Hey all - hitting a more old school MF desk in a few weeks (think Bx / TPG). Wanted to get advice on how to think about the first 6months.

Everyone says the first 6m are super intense - what are some ways to make sure I am ramping up efficiently? Coming from a solid group where I have learnt a ton but can’t help feel it is likely not enough.

I am fairly anxious and would love to hear other people’s stories of first 6 m on the job, do’s/dont’s etc. Thank you!

ps: ignore title.
