How to stop intrusive thoughts?

Serious question regarding a situation I often find myself in. Last week I was in a conference room alone with a fellow female associate. She is smoking hot and I couldn't stop thinking about touching her. I actually did touch her (very softly) and pretended it was an accident (she didn't seem to think much of it, and even made eye contact with me and smiled). This is only one of many times in my career this has happened. As I've progressed up the ladder, these thoughts have only become more intrusive.
How do all of you deal with intrusive thoughts? I know it's wrong and I feel guilty, but I don't know how to stop it.

Why do you not want the intrusive thoughts? Do they scare you? Are you with someone else? Is it against your religion? Or is it because it's work related?
