Think it's probably hard to generalize, but if it is an immediate start would assume they'd have a preference for wrapping up a hiring process sooner rather than later. You could probably ask towards the end of a next round for some context on timeline
Got it, in your case (for PE and HF interviews), have they typically gotten back to you ASAP or normal for it to stall for 2+ weeks
Typically things move quicker than 2+ weeks if they like you / you're getting prioritized. Depending on stage they may want to get through a batch of interviews before moving people forward but that is usually in a 1-1.5 week period. You could be on hold as they move a prioritize candidate ahead
