Infra & Energy Fund - Interview with energy portfolio operations

Hello,

I am interviewing with the head of portfolio operations of a Energy Fund. The portfolio consists of several renewables and gas power plants. I am wondering if someone has any suggestions of the type of questions I will be asked. I came up with some general topics but it would be great if someone who has gone through the same process can add some specific questions.

  • Technical questions related to power plants operations (Improve efficiencies, procurement, major overhauls...)
  • Financial performance of the projects (cash flows improvements, forecasts, energy prices...)
  • Reporting to LPs (presentation, financial modeling...). I assume this is similar to other PE funds

Thank you very much!
