InfraRed Capital Partners London

So, I have accepted an offer there for Infra PE Summer Analyst (on their origination and execution team) but couldn't find much info online regarding comp, exits, brand name and MBA placements.

I know that some of their associates did their banking stints at Roths/Macquarie/JPM, and that they hire a lot from LBS/Oxford and one guy with an MBA from Columbia and so am inclined to say that comp is good, or at least on par with banking money.

Can anyone give an insight regarding the what I said above.

Thanks

PS: This is their first ever summer programme so I'm not too sure as to what to expect

I don’t know too much about comp - and exits you should be able to find on LinkedIn. The business has been totally restructured in the last couple of years though. The real estate business was sold to ESR and the Infra team was bought by Sun Life.

Obviously the real estate business no longer exists within “InfraRed”. The implications of being owned by a lifeco for the remaining infra business are more ambiguous. On one hand there is a permanent source of capital, on the other it will likely be risk averse.

Thank you for the response. And with regards to brand name and prestige, how would infrared place within the alternatives space
