Interest in Finance

Incoming Sophomore at Notre Dame, Econ (3.95 gpa), minimal finance ecs and consulting internship this summer. If I want to do something in finance is it too late? What should my steps be? Would it be better to just do consulting to PE route?

First figure out what you want to do in finance. If you want PE then get started on networking and interview prep to get an IB SA. You can move to PE after 2 years. Plenty of threads here and guides on the internet, also talk to upperclassmen for specific advice. You aren't too late and have a good GPA at a good school and relevant enough experience.
