Internal Wholesaler Final Interview Sales Pitch
Hi guys, first post on here. Have final round of interviews for an Internal Sales Analyst position at top PE firm in Manhattan. Had first round last week went well and they offered me to come back. As part of the final round I have to give a 3-5 minute pitch on anything I want. The managing director I interviewed with said "don't do it on PE or what we do here" assuming he just wants to see my presentation skills more than my knowledge of private investment options. I have a solid background in investment management with 2 internships at private firms in college and about a year under my belt as an analyst post-grad. I was thinking pitching a mutual fund since it is relatable to the job but not replicating what I would do in the role.
I have never done a sales pitch in an interview before. Just looking for thoughts/tips on this idea and how I should format my presentation/what is he looking for out of me.
Thanks so much!
