I wanted to reach out to you guys as I am a bit nervous with this task my boss had just given me. I have been a straight analyst basically just crunching number and making decks since I have been with the firm. Although midway through Q2 our senior associate got promoted and all of his duties have fallen to me until they hire someone new as I have one more left in school. One of the things I got to do is write an investor update to everyone based on Q2. I wanted to know if any of the more senior members of the community had any do's and dont's when i am writing this.
I am comparing the financials which is fine for me, but writing the letter is what is tough for me.
