Keyboard Layout
Which keyboard layout is best suited for modelling? I am considering buying a new Laptop, and it would be interesting to get some opinions on that.

I use custom peripherals. I find excel is best navigated on an old 360 controller.
Boss seems to disagree, interns love it.
Also get one of those pedals for clicking, because who doesn’t want shredded calves. Using a mouse for anything is 2024.
On a slightly more sensible note. (And sorry OP, ik not answering your question but would be keen to hear). I’ve heard of ‘popping the bishop’ unless I’ve butchered that, (removing F1 key for obvious reasons). But are there any other tricks people use?
I removed caps lock as well. Like when does one actually use caps lock. This also makes it easier to distinguish shift and tab without looking
Fair, how commonly do you use tab?
I can’t even recall what I use it for or the last time I used it, bar on a ppt or word doc. Muscle memory would have me trying alt h 6 first.
I was wondering if, e.g. the German keyboard layout is better than the UK layout or if the US layout is better.
