KKR backoffice extremely unhappy?
I’m currently doing back office work at KKR at 57th st. The vibe in the backoffice is super weird. Part of me wants to move on realizing that it’s nearly impossible to move to front office as almost everyone there Cum laude from Harvard. I also think maybe having KKR on my resume will take me everywhere. I highly appreciate any advice. I have been on the job almost 3 month now.
I wish I can also get other views on this
I actually came across some backoffice ppl worked their asses off to get into an IBD role (without Bschool) in some LMM/second tier banks. But it needs lots of work, dedication and networking.
People are always unhappy in back office - that is why it's back office.

Yep, agreed back office is usually an unhappy place. Would be weird if people were high over there
Explain what you mean by a weird vibe please
What's your role exactly?
