UMM Turnaround guys, top decile returns, and a massively oversubscribed fund raise in 2023. They are the exit opps for people interested in longer-term PE careers. They promote to senior associate and to VP without MBA, so I wouldn't expect many B School outcomes, as there is a pathway upwards, and KPS is already one of the most desired seats on the street. Also, will note based on their site, not a lot of associates getting hired a year (looks like 3-4), and given fund size + nature of work, would expect it to be very sweaty. Lots of industrial deals, but they clearly must have an edge given that they have had stellar returns for every fund they have raised.
