Lateralling - resume / GPA

Throughout my Master's I got grades well above the 4.0/4.0 conversion threshold. However, at the very end of my course, I had to write a Master's Thesis which I got at 3.0/4.0 (my coach was a complete moron, he was a young guy and seemed to have a problem with everything). This accounted for ~30% of the course weight, cratering my grad GPA to below 3.7/4.0.

Is it fine to show it as "course grades" 4.0/4.0 on my resume or this will be an instant fail on background checks? - especially applying to countries where there's no thesis at all or it's just not accounted for.

The final GPA is not shown on my transcript, it just lists the grades and weights.
