Does anyone know anything about Long Ridge Equity Partners? There isn't much information on them here or on other sites.
How are they regarded in the PE / growth equity world?
Is it hard to get an internship / analyst role there?
Any info / thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Seems like a solid firm. All the people on the website are peak ~prestige~ (McKinsey, HYP, etc.)
Small fund, but probably offers a lot of learning
Look closer, many of the members of the firm come from non-traditional backgrounds or were consultants.
they're all from McKinsey, banking, or some other venture firm. I think that's anything but "non-traditional"
Had a superday with them last year for FT coming out of a BB IB program.
Super intelligent people, definitely more consulting backgrounds than finance, which was reflected in the interviews (very behavioral + casing-style). Analysts are mostly tasked with sourcing. Not sure about comp/hours/dealflow.

Had an analyst offer here - didn’t take it. Comp was below market (think like $100k), especially for NYC. Would only take it if you don’t have another offer from a more brand name shop or if you’re super into financial services
