Made 2 free anonymized PE case studies. Would love some thoughts.

When I was recruiting, the hardest thing to prep for was the case study, not the paper LBO, the actual "here's a CIM, build a model and tell us if you'd do the deal" exercise. There's almost nothing realistic floating around to practice on. So I wrote up two full anonymized case packets, the kind of materials a firm actually hands you:

- A full 3-statement LBO on a consumer brand (complex debt - tiered ECF sweep, PIK, seller rollover, management options)

- An investment memo debrief on a healthcare/education staffing platform

Each one has the business overview, end markets, historical financials, and every assumption you need to build the model yourself in Excel.

Free to read/download, pepath.net/case-studies

Let me know what you think. Happy to keep adding other industries, concepts, etc.
