I see many people with pretty crazy MF PE shops like Silver Lake, Vista, TPG, and Partners Group for their sophomore summer. How do they go about getting these offers? I go to a target but I've never seen any sophomore summer openings at these places. Is it all nepo? Are they recruiting up?

That makes sense lol a lot of them are girls. I was so shocked when I saw someone going from Vista sophomore summer to a MM bank for junior summer the other day.
Probably through SEO (many PE firms offer non-convertible sophomore summer internships though.)
