MF Tech PE Exit Opportunities

Hey y'all, I'm currently a senior who's going to be doing tech PE at a MF (KKR/Vista/WP) when I graduate. I was just curious if anyone had any color on what the most common exit opportunities look like. Is it a lot of staying in PE for the long haul (or leaving to other funds), exits to growth or venture, or going to a HF (I listed out some of the more basic ones but I am curious if I'm missing any key ones)? I tried to map exits out using LinkedIn but I got flagged as a bot, so I would love to hear about what you guys have seen the most common exits being.

Also, I'm interested in getting into hearing more about the specifics, like, are most PE exits to smaller funds, are most venture exits to growth shops, or are all HF exits to L/S Equity (maybe even activist)? I am just trying to figure out what options are available so I can try them all out (to a degree) before I hit the desk and have a better sense of what career I want to, and can pursue.

You are way overthinking this...just relax and if you don't have a strong desire to leave just do well in the seat you're going to.

I am just trying to weigh all my options so I can start exploring some things I haven't tried yet before it's too late and I hit the desk yk.

If you need to ask this question, you def aren’t going to a hedge fund. Those require you to think on your own….
