Michael Flynn in PE?

Former national Security Adviser Michael Flynn has opened a new consulting firm called Resilient Patriot LLC. The firm specializes in advising private equity firms.

Prior to working in the Trump Administration, Flynn was a consultant for the PE firm Francisco Partners. Flynn was also an adviser for NSO Group, an Israeli cyber security company owner by Francisco Partners. NSO Group is famous for its software which is being used by the Mexican government to spy on journalists.

According to Axios.com:

This past weekend there was an Israeli media report that The Blackstone Group is in talks to buy a 40% stake in NSO, while ClearSky would purchase another 10%.

There has been no word as to who Flynn's clients are, however spokespeople for Francisco and Blackstone say he is not currently a consultant for either firm.

Flynn's brother, Joe claims that Mike relies on his pension from the Army to get by. Joe Flynn went on to say that the legal fees resulting from the ongoing probe into Mike's involvement in the 2016 election have left Mike in a "tough spot financially".

Let me know what you think. Personally, I feel like any firm that associates itself with Flynn better expect a media firestorm.
