Middle Market PE Analyst Programs

Noticed that several MM PE funds are now taking analysts/interns, was wondering if anybody had input on the quality of these programs relative to BB/EB IB

Here are a few for which I've seen postings or have historically taken analysts

Partners Group also has an analyst program. Not sure if they’re considered MM or MF though

ik people at a couple of these shops so will share some comments despite being in undergrad

Audax PE:

- return offers for FT are lower than IB. Fortunately, these kids still end up with top BB gigs in case they don't get a return offer.

- run structured training out of Boston for their PE teams (Boston and SF) and for PD

Crestview PE:

- Take summa/magna kids who are also athletes with 3.9+ GPAs

- Think they promote to associate in like 12 to 18 months

Found some through linkedin searching, and some have applications currently up

GTCR / Crestview are a notch above others in terms of prestige / exits

Agree. Have seen strong kids from my target school go to Crestview / GTCR / occasionally Audax, none to the others

Very well regarded old line firm. Returns been pretty pedestrian the last decade outside of their tech fund which has done great.
