Middle market PE case studies (e.g. Riverside) with rationale for investment recommendation

Hi,

Noticing the PE funds case studies have advanced a bit from creating an LBO from a blank excel and spit out the IRR. Seems more and more firms are giving out case studies where you are given a CIM or shorter IM to use and then asked to give the rational whether you recommend buying this company or not. This often involve building an LBO but equally important is explaining your rationale and lay out potential levers to improve the investment and mitigate the risk. Some tests are a few hours, others a few days.

Especially from middle market PE firms such as Riverside and alike.

Many thanks!
