Networking with Counterparties
Work at a small boutique that works with some large sponsors and lenders. Would there be a risk of my supervisors or the more senior team of finding out I tried to reach out to firms that we work with?
Brother I got fired for doing the very thing the week after I sent an email to someone to connect and get some career advice after I thought we had build a good rapport during the investment due diligence.
So I would strongly advise against.
