Just got an email that I have to do a drug test in the next 72 hours for upcoming PE role starting in August. I smoke weed nearly every night. From my understanding NYC companies can’t test for weed but should I be concerned if the panel includes weed?
Any thoughts appreciated.

Can you ask them what drugs they're testing for?
Woul prefer to avoid doing that but assuming it includes weed

Definitely don’t ask them lol. It will probably be a standard 5-panel, which includes weed, but officially they can’t use that in the hiring decision. I would just take it and hope they don’t care (considering it’s legal in NY)
When you get the test info from the lab (quest diagnostics, etc) it’ll say what the test is and u can google that code to see if it tests for weed. If u smoke daily cleansing won’t really work just use X stream / quick fix can find at any smoke shop. Have done a drug test for every job I’ve had. Cheated all and never failed
I literally smoked everyday for months, even was eating edibles everyday. I was able to clear my system in a week by profusely sweating outside in the sun, didn’t eat much that entire week, and a ton of water.
