Off-cycle recruiting: Group IOI Selectivity?

First-year analyst starting to ramp up on off-cycle recruiting prep. Recently got an email from a group that I am interested in saying that they reviewed my resume and think it could be a strong fit. Did not have a coffee chat with anyone here but have attended info sessions. Obviously, still a ton left to do from this point but interest is good, and I am wondering how selective they are with sending out this email. I think it is a good sign, but don't want to put too much on this email when it might just be, still, a broad outreach.

I mean… i doubt they looked at your resume and thought you had something insanely unique about you from the personal or deal experience side. I think they saw your current group, alma mater, and general profile and said eh he seems like he is intelligent and can do 80 hour weeks on the buy side, why not send him an IOI along with these other 20-30 folks.

I kind of generalized and made up the above but I think your best bet is to ask them what caught their attention in terms of fit and focus in on that during interviews.
