On Cycle Recruiting

For those who just went through on cycle PE recruiting, how was it? Also was wondering, are transcripts asked for during the process - wondering because I have a W and 2 b- on my transcript or is gpa just taken from resume word of mouth.

I know I know, just want to plan man. Idk if I’m cooked because of my transcript

Reading your last few posts, you’ve got a bit of anxiety around all this. That’s normal, but i think anxiety will ultimately be a bigger barrier than a bad GPA. The best thing you can do is your best, so just keep hustling and don’t sweat the small stuff…

The obvious answer to your question is that, in a vacuum lower GPA is worse. But, you might be doing a ridiculously hard major at a ridiculously good school, and banks/PE funds will understand that.

Try to find a mentor early on - even someone 1-2 years older than you. I think that’ll be more helpful than random WSO posts.
