PE Funds in Switzerland (ZH/GE)

I'm considering moving back to the DACH region after spending some time in LDN. Specifically targeting Switzerland. Did a quick research but there were not many datapoints.

What are the main firms active in Switzerland? What can one expect in terms of package for Analyst/Associate roles & beyond?

How is the culture overall compared to e.g. London?

Some firms that I know of are Partners Group, Capvis, Investindustrial, Susi Partners (only energy), Montana Capital Partners (secondaries), LGT (secondaries and Co-invest), G Squared (VC), Pictet (I think mostly co-invest), Blue Orchard (impact) plus there lots of corporates and insurance companies with Corp Dev/M&A roles.

My figures may be a bit outdated regarding the salaries but I was quoted about 80k to 100k CHF for analysts and around 110/130k CHF for associates. Bonus as % of base might be a bit lower than LDN but happy to be proven wrong

Did first round interviews with TPG for their analyst programme but pulled out before second round interviews to go consulting. That was one year Zug, one year London, then staffing on a ‘needs and wants’ basis from then on as to whether you get UK or CH. Salary wise I’ve heard similar numbers to the above: analysts at 80-100k CHF plus bonus.

Was quoted ~120k CHF (130k USD), 90 base, 30 bonus, for a first year analyst role at a strong MM (~2-3b fund) in CH recently. Keep in mind this is out of undergrad, I doubt that you'll get paid more elsewhere, even in the US, during 1st year besides IB? In CH, one pays very little taxes if one lives in the right city (lake Zurich, Zug, Schwyz). In my case, I'll be paying ~16k taxes (13%) on said 120k salary.
