PE HH Chats -- What You're Looking For

In terms of initial conversations with headhunters, I've heard it's advisable to be direct in terms of stage, geo, strategy, etc. My question is how much can you leave the option open for alternatives? Like if you want to look for larger funds, can you say you're interested in those in one geo but also that you're open to to looks in another, like for west/east coasts?

Let me know if that makes sense -- thanks for the help!
