PE IR compensation in HK

Hi all,

I’m currently working as an Associate at an Asset Management firm in Northeast Asia, primarily supporting senior colleagues with investment tasks. Recently, I received an offer for an Investor Relations (IR) role from a Private Equity firm in Hong Kong.

I actually think IR might be a better fit for me than investment work, so I’m considering this as a good opportunity to pivot my career. However, I haven’t had a chance to discuss salary yet.

Since I don’t have any information on typical compensation for an IR Associate position in Hong Kong PE, could anyone share insights on the usual range?

Many Thanks
