Prospect in IB-M&A:

Is it safe to assume on cycle will start earlier than last year (July 21st)? I mean how much earlier can they start it each year

Probably around same time. Most BBs will have had ~ 2 weeks of firm wide training, any earlier seems extreme.

My shop has already had on cycle workshop / training for the upcoming cycle.

Unfortunate how it works but it’s the reality. Highly advise any seniors who have an interest in on-cycle to spend just 1 hour a week from now till grad just getting your technicals up.. not much of a time commitment but relieves you of a LOT of stress on the day all hell breaks loose.
