Looking at potential opportunities within PE Ops. After 3-4 years of consulting. Looking for some guidance:
1) How common are Associate roles in PE Ops? Heard a lot of firms have VP+ roles only for operations. Would love to get examples from Mega Funds to Middle Market Funds.
2) Career path? Ops teams have limited upside potential compared to investing roles at a PE firms, but my background seems to be a better fit for this role.
3) WLB? It definitely depends on the fund but any experience/examples would be useful.
