CPP might be done. HOOPP OMERS OTPP BCI all open late. These are definitely better than the boutiques you mentioned for anything tbh. They are heavily influenced by HR but HR can be influenced by current team members. There are a few McGill alums across these funds so prob reach out to them.

Also the McGill name might be good enough to get on the short list with a cold application. Idk how much experiences you have but if you got looks for b5 2025 SA you might be able to get away with a cold application

OTPP opens in August and CPP is not done yet. AIMCO and IMCO also opens in August/September. BCI will be in September, PSP should also be around September

does this apply to their "fundamental investments" role? their website posting will be live in september but they already had one on linkedin with a deadline of mid july

Yeah each only have 2-5 spots open but might be easier in the sense that the top talent have been snatched up by late summer

Will echo that FO pensions are very competitive.

One thing I'll say is that I rarely ever see someone do pension to B5 IB. Pension spots are very hard to get FT, as most don't do return offers.
