Petty Resume BS - Need help - PE Intern

Started a new position today, small shop with just a couple guys and 200 MM AUM. I am still in school (undergrad but all the other interns graduated/are in the midst of getting their MBA) and if I were to give myself a title, would go by analyst intern @ XYZ fund. However, upon signing my contract, I was notified by the principal that I would have the title associate (I have more experience in PE than any of the other interns). What do I put on resume/LI? Don't wanna mislead anyone and feeling heavily obligated to at least put intern somewhere in the title. Meeting with a few ppl and need to update my resume within the next 2 days, so any advice would be great.

I would love to touch base with you. I have worked with several industry acquisitions this year. I do mostly focus on carve out work, however would be happy to chat about the right direction. Your mind seems perfectly focused in the right area, just make sure to stay positive...on all fronts. Best of luck. You can always consider working in wealth management as I see your care for people! I see great potential for you in that area!
