Post-MBA IB Associate to MM PE
Thinking about trying to make a move to MM PE in a "Tier 2" city and would like to understand feasibility as well as starting level of seniority and comp I might expect given I'm currently a post-MBA IB associate at top-tier EB in NYC (~ 2 years experience).
Would I have a chance of coming in directly as a VP, or is associate / senior associate more likely? Any insight on comp / lifestyle expectations?

Have seen direct to vp twice. One of them was a vp in banking. All others have been aso or senior aso. All to <750m latest fund size
