Interviewing for a finance role at the manager level for a 1B+ PE backed company and was quoted 140k + 20% bonus with no equity which seems low. Background is 2Y IB + 2Y PE. Anyone have updated data points?

2 years tech IB and 1.5 years tech PE leaving to do bizops at a series A startup at 150k base and 10 bps of equity. Unfortunately, in my search I realized that exits generally do not pay well (compared to IB/PE), so you need to be comfortable with it being a longer-term career bet
