Private Credit / Direct Lending Headhunters

Hey everyone - I'm a current analyst at a middle market fund based in NYC. I'm looking to make the switch to credit for a variety of reasons - mainly lifestyle related since I don't see WLB as improving as I advance at my current fund. I've received a good amount of inbounds for associate positions at other funds, but haven't received any hits related to private credit analyst or associate positions.

With that in mind, I'm wondering what the typical pipeline is for these jobs - is it mainly referral based and online apps, or are there dedicated headhunters for these positions similar to PE? Would love to hear any recs on how to start getting interviews at shops like Golub, AB, Bain Credit, etc. from bankers or PE guys who have made the switch to credit.

Really appreciate any insights that anyone has on the interview process for these roles.
