Private credit recruiting market?

Hi guys:

Are private credit / opportunistic credit job market pretty active right now for experienced associates / junior VPs? What do they think of candidates who've done PE but also did credit on the job (aka lending to portco, etc.)?

Thanks!

Very active, I probably get pinged on 2-3 private cred roles every week or so with the caveat some of them tend to be duplicates from other HHs. Most of the mix is from sponsor focused, traditional private credit versus opportunistic. I would imagine having lending experience in any capacity will be seen as a positive, and likely a stronger positive for guys focused on non-sponsor lending because you're usually in closer touch with the company and can have more direct input on strategy, etc.
