Private Credit Recruiting Prep

Hey all,

I’m looking to start the recruiting process for private credit funds. My understanding from reading previous threads are to study up on LBO modeling. Does anyone have any specific LBO courses they’d recommend. Thanks!

Got it. I’m currently in private credit. What level are you? Most of the backgrounds we hire have LF or RX backgrounds. I would recommend brushing up on free cash flow modeling (which segways into LBO modeling). Also know more about private credit capital structures and generic pricing and terms for private loans today and be able to talk about the private credit markets in general. Theres also a heavy docs element to private credit so depending on your level, they may ask you about these line items (baskets, shared cap levels etc). There is likely a case study round so be sure practice those too.
