Private Equity Query

Hi guys,

I am new to this forum. I am planning on applying for a number of internships within the portfolio group/operating group of a number of PE firms. What sort of topics should I be preparing for/come up in these interviews? Will I still be required to do LBOs as it is in the portfolio groups/operating groups?

I would also be really interested to hear about the day-to-day roles that an intern or junior analyst would carry out in these positions at a large fund?

Any tips or advice at all would be very much appreciated.
