Private Equity - Thomson One

Does sb. of you have experience with Thomson One? I'm a bit confused right now: I now that the two main subgroups of Private Equity funds are Venture Capital funds as well as Buyout funds. Since I want to look at the investments of these funds (especially Buyout deals) I'm getting confused. In Thomson One there are two ways how I can get these deals: 1) By looking at M&A deals and selecting all LBO deals or 2) By looking at "Private Equity" and selecting all Buyout deals.

The problem is that I'm getting completely different results. One example would be the LBO of Tesco PLC by Investor Group which I can find under the LBOs of the M&A deals but not under the buyout deals under the Private Equity segment...

I hope that you could help me to understand the difference...

Kind regards!
